Exploring Patina : Works on Paper

My latest collection of works on paper is an exploration of patina, texture, and transformation—themes that run through my larger practice. These pieces are more than standalone artworks; they serve as studies, capturing the fleeting beauty of weathered surfaces and organic decay.

Working on paper allows for spontaneity and experimentation, where layers of pigment and marks build into rich, tactile compositions. The textures echo the corroded surfaces of aged metals and weathered landscapes, revealing the quiet poetry of time’s passage.

These smaller works inform my larger paintings, acting as a space for discovery and a place to explore the interplay of materials and push the boundaries of surface depth.
