Of Time and Tide

I’ve just returned from a week in Northumberland, where the days were filled with long, windswept walks along empty beaches and quiet stretches of coastline. There’s something about the rhythm of walking in a place like that, it opens you up to noticing the smaller details.

I found myself drawn again and again to surfaces touched by time: rusted metal, corroded textures, fragments softened by the sea air. These quiet remnants carry stories of exposure and endurance, and I’m feeling really inspired to explore them further in the studio. Looking forward to seeing where they lead me.
